ABOUT ME
Hey, I’m Drew, a filmmaker recording professional on-location audio for Film & TV in the Tri-State area.
My formal education includes a BA in Cinema-Media Studies and Creative Writing from Hamilton College as well as an apprenticeship in Location Sound Recording from Semester Cinema. As of 2026, I have accumulated 2000+ hours of set experience in the Sound Department working on industrial and commercial video, live shows, documentaries, narrative shorts, and 7 feature films.
When I’m not on set, you can find me hiking in the Adirondacks and Green Mountains, throwing frisbees really far, or performing my poetry around the city.
I also create my own projects on Vimeo; mostly silly sketches in celebration of friends and family or content that pushes the medium in ways I find interesting.
