Hey there, I’m Drew- a location Sound Mixer, Boom Op, and UST based out of New York. I’m a storyteller recording professional on location audio for Film & TV.

My formal education includes a BA in cinema/media and creative writing and an apprenticeship in sound recording. I have 800+ hours of set experience working on corporate video, music videos, live broadcasts, short films, and 3 feature films.

I run sound as a one-man band with the following GEAR LIST: Zoom F8n Pro 10-track field recorder (32 bit float capable), Zoom H6 6-track recorder, Audio-Technica AT875R shotgun mic, XYH-5 X/Y mic, SSH-6 shotgun mic, 8′ boom pole, boom stand, Rode Blimp windscreen, 4x Godox WMicS1 wireless lavaliers kits with Rode mics, 2x Tentacle SYNC E MKII’s, 2x Comtek PR-16’s (IFB system), dummy slate, and all the necessary expendables. For post, I mix in Premiere, Resolve, and Pro Tools. 

Though Sound is my focus, I also offer work in G&E as an Electrician, Best, or Gaffer. I don’t have my own lighting units, but have extensive knowledge of industry-standard grip and lighting equipment.
